Finished the cladding on the roof today remembering the cut out areas for the rear speakers this time.

The ceiling is getting varnished to help reflect light and the bottom will stay stained the darker colour. Obviously i will be re doing it.

Also made a couple of doors for the front of the kitchen pod. In here will be storage for the gas and sink water.

Took out that dirty old door card on the sliding door and pine clad that also

So another nice Gumtree deal. Two double wall units for £20 when stacked are just 3 foot tall. Perfect as that is what the cooker sink unit is

Leisure battery wired up unto the lower left unit. I shall box that in proper later as still to plug an Aux socket into that.

And the view from the other side

They are not plumbed in yet bit this is how the sink and cooker will look

There is also a lid to go on top and a drop down front for the grill. Just to find a nice strong wood but can only be 1cm thick

So that gap under the hob (Drop down door missing) The gas hose will be to close to the grill for my liking so what i did was use some copper water pipe and run my rubber hose inside that to help protect the hose from heat. That goes down unto the storage area for the Gas

Hole in floor for a gas vent. Apparently the gas gets sucked out if i have a leak or gas is cold and drops. Cant remember i just read briefly about it. I just knew i wanted a vent :)

So once plumbed in a switched the gas on and heard it was leaking. Turned out my gas regulator seal had perished but i had a spare regulator so just a quick swap over.

Then hey presto. I have gas. The grill is rubbish so may just start taking a larger gas bottle and use the grill for heat. It only has to be on for five minutes and its to hot in there

This is the boxed off wheel arches. They had to be tall boxes for the pullout bed to lie flat when in use so it was a shame to waste that space so boxed them off for storage. I am putting a 12v socket in or near this one (Below) so i can sit the cool box in here when travelling

The other side. They are about 7" deep so could get a fair bit stuff in them. Ill line them with the stretch carpet later.

Ta da. Should help keeping rattling noise down. If i find nice shallow enough wicker tubs i may get them so to stop things sliding around.

So i had some of that grey stretch carpet left and thought i would cheer up the dash. Below is a before and after. Still to put the dash lower in but awaiting soundproofing so ill do that later.

So the weathers getting warmer so time to dig out the varnish

And turn the old bus into a Knocking Shop
