Put fresh and waste water containers in today. Need another pump feed hose as this one is now to short. My tap must sit higher than the last unit. See water in fresh container.

Just a rough wire up of the pump just now to get it all working. Looking for the PVC tubing to run the wires in then i can close up that gap in the back.

My pump tuns it 5lt per minute what is one of the smallest but its only for the sink and this video shows the flow. Perfect for filling the kettle.

My fuel gauge lost the will to live for some reason. I swapped the clocks for a set with a rev counter so i knew the sender was fine so i sent away to China for a £5 LED gauge. Its great as it has an adjuster to make it read higher or lower. As it happens it was almost bob on out the box but i knew how much fuel i had so did a slight adjustment and added a Jerry can to make sure.

It never came with a wire diagram so had to do a bit google work to sus what wire went where. I never wanted to cut into the loom to took a feed from the back of the clocks just like this below. Added a plug so i can split the wire if needed

Unfortunately the gauge was to fat to mount under the clocks glass as i would have liked to have just took the old needle out and stuck in in there. As you see it now lives just behind the steering wheel at the indicator stalk

The the cab floor is next. Out with the seats and up with the rubber mat. I also took this opportunity to weld nuts under the van so it was easier to take the seats out as i needed to hold the nut and undo the bolt the way it was before.

Painted with Bitumen paint. Reason being if i did have a build up of condensation it would just sit on top of the rubber based paint rather than rot my floor. Downside is to much heat makes it tacky and smells again but it will be covered in sticky back closed cell rubber then carpeted over so should not have that problem.

Two layers if 6mm closed cell sticky back rubber down on the floor. This will replace the horrid rubber mat provided by LDV and is its stuck down it seems to prevent the metal vibrating making it a lot quieter when the engine is running. Still to put down a carpet but no great hurry. Also welded nuts under the van for the seat bolts to drop into. Using the power drill makes taking the seats out a 2 minute job

I put some stretch carpet over the top of the back rest shelf. The front edge finish does not matter as it will be hidden under the futon mattress anyway. Notice the back rest now has hinges at the bottom

This is to allow me to fold it flat so if needed i can still use the van for work and load longer items through the back rather than shuffle into the side door.

Added some trim round the windows to tidy things u a bit. Need to redo the glass tint and may un blank the left glass as that was done for the last build.
